We are now looking for experienced software developers to join our growing development team.

You and the team
You will become a key team member and deliver code in an Agile environment, working in all phases of the development lifecycle, from analysis to release. You will be part of a small team developing and maintaining web applications to support cartographic production and data management.

Who are we looking for?
We seek a pragmatic and structured person with an open and curious mind. You should be communicative and enjoy teamwork. You have preferably an engineering/technical master’s degree (or equivalent) and some relevant work experience.

Required skills

Practical experience and knowledge of:
• Javascript/TypeScript and NodeJS which are essential
• Angular would be an advantage

Added merits:
· Knowledge of REST
· Knowledge of Java,
· Knowledge of some of: C#, .NET Core, C++, ANSI C, Python, PowerShell, Bash
· Knowledge of version control systems like Git
· Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MySQL, SQLite)
· Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
· Understanding of geospatial data related technology

We create and maintain navigational charts for our defence customers, maintaining a seamless cartographic database for rapid, flexible chart production in any format.
We provide world-class cities with public transport and city wayfinding information, creating a seamless basemap from which to produce consistent, up-to-date information across a range of media.
