Software Engineer

Sinch are looking for a talented C++/Java developer to join the SDK team.

The Sinch SDK allows 3rd party application developers to integrate Real Time Communication features like Voice Calling and Instant Messaging into their applications and services. We are at the forefront of the VoIP and WebRTC industry, and take pride in creating simple and innovative solutions for our customers.

YOUR JOB

Based out of the Stockholm office, you will be responsible for developing real time communication features in our Android and iOS SDK. As a member of our team you will need to constantly adapt and learn new technologies, and be able to apply yourself to any challenge, whether you?re just starting out or are a veteran of the industry. Our team members have a high technical level and are expected to work efficiently within the team to solve complex problems, from analysis to design, planning and implementation. We are pushing the boundaries with continuous integration and delivery and seek to remove dependencies to enable the team and Sinch to add new business value in higher speed than ever before.

YOUR PROFILE

- Minimum 3 years? experience in software development with a good command of object oriented principles
- Very strong knowledge and recent experience of C++ and Java
- Comfortable in UNIX-based development environment + scripting in Bash, Python, Ruby
- Experience from native mobile development
- Experience from public API design
- Developing for other developers, e.g. by using backend REST-APIs, open source projects/frameworks
- A drive to know more and do better to evolve
