SDK Developer

WRLDS is a platform that use sensors and connectivity to make the things that engage us more fun and useful. We call this augmented life. Our first product is a smart super bouncing ball that can be used to control mobile apps and in theory, any device with Bluetooth compatibility.

As a SDK developer you will be working with the tools that make WRLDS appealing to external app developers and will help us making everything out there that's fun "Powered by WRLDS". WRLDS SDK is the magic sauce binding together the firmware in our chips with the apps that are being built internally as well as externally for the end consumers. Building with flexibility in mind in order to scale while minding all the developers that are already using the platform is key.

We are working in Scrum and Agile with two week sprints allowing for fast iterations and a flat hierarchy. We think that you prefer building something cool together with a strong team rather than putting in the hours needed to get the job done and that creativity is more important than following a fixed set of tasks.

While you are a senior developer today, we believe you have been developing fun things since you were young because you love it. To us, what you know is more important than how you learnt it. A formal education is thus not mandatory but we want to see a portfolio or similar demonstrating relevant projects that you've run or been an important part of and that you have relevant work experience of at least 3 years in a company.

Boiled down, the main skills we are looking for are:
-Expert in either Android or iOS development
-Skilled in whichever of above you are not expert in
-Skilled Unity developer
-A nice, curious and positive character

WRLDS office is located in the heart of Södermalm and shared with another fun loving company, Waboba. We are today a fantastic team of eight with the majority working with software and hardware development and the whole team structured around Scrum and Agile methods. We are currently growing quickly as we are launching products on the market while simultaneously spending considerable energy building a platform that can connect anything we find to be fun.
