Roxxor is looking to hire a highly motivated and talented individual to fill an increasingly important role as a Lead System and Design Hardware Architect.

Description
The Lead System and Design Hardware Architect position will drive technology strategy and execution for advanced technology solutions needed to address customer needs.
The Lead System and Design Architect will support and integrate solutions across various areas including:
. Electrical Design and Architecture of new embedded control products (Analog, digital, RF, etc.), including but not limited to IR/RF remote controls.
. Documentation (Schematic capture, BOM generation, Specification creation & review, and Product release).
. COSTING of BOM and BOM optimization.
. Electrical testing/product evaluation (component, module, software, product)
. Creation/signoff of product evaluation reports.
. Build and debug HW modules.
. Co-ordinate with layout engineer for routing, placement.
. Layout and Gerber Reviews.
. Co-ordinate with suppliers for components and board assembly.
. Support software/firmware development. Some embedded microcontroller Firmware experience (Motorola/Pic) is a plus.
. Development of in-house and factory Test equipment.
. EMI/EMC certifications for product
. Experience in designing hardware for Automotive, Consumer, Telecom and Industrial Systems.
The candidate is required to interact with and serve as a key resource in solving problems of high complexity to other analysts and technicians.
The candidate is also required to consult with clients on issues and requests that require the implementation or creation of a custom solution.

Qualifications/Skills:
. BE/ME/ M. Tech in any of the fields: Electronics and communications, Electrical
. 12+ years of experience in embedded control electrical design and architecture.
. Debugging skills at hardware, software and system level to identify the root cause.
. Documentation.
. Team Management and team building.
. Individual team contribution.
. Technical marketing.
. Preparing the technical proposals.
. Software Development on Device drivers, Kernel module, Middleware, Applications of android, Linux, IOS.
. Software coding on hardware bring up activity, Porting of Linux, Android, RTOs.
