Backend Developer - Volvo Car Mobility

We are looking for Back-End Developers to join our existing team of nine. As a Back-End Engineer at Volvo Car Mobility, you will develop highly reliable and high-performance APIs. You will work with modern tools and technologies and you are more than welcome to share your knowledge and experience when deciding what tools/technologies we should work with. In the process of creating and delivering the best possible solutions, you will work cross functionally and tightly with the Android / iOS, UX and UI and test teams. The developers are also involved in testing different mobility concepts using real vehicles on the streets of Stockholm.

What will help you be great:

- You have strong skills working with Java or Kotlin
- Experience working with web application frameworks like Spring or Dropwizard (we use Spring Boot)
- You have experience with modern Version Control Systems (we use Git)
- You have worked in agile environments

Extra awesome if you have some of the following:

- Previous experience working with Kotlin
- GraphQL APIs
- DevOps experience and microservices
- Worked with Google Cloud Platform or similar (AWS, Azure)
- Worked on Deployment (Kubernetes) and CI

- Some knowledge about relational SQL Databases (we use PostgreSQL)
- Some knowledge about Docker
