Software Engineer

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) the Software Engineer is an integral part of the development process in Mitigram. The position requires collaboration with the management and other members of the development team in order to ensure development goals are reached in the planned timeframe with exceptional quality.

Areas of Responsibility
• Drive the design, coding, and shipping of high quality applications and services
• Assist and instruct less experienced team members
• Work with program management to contribute to new feature definitions
• Design, code and deliver backend functionality, primarily using C# the .NET framework
• Drive a high quality bar in terms of code quality, unit testing, daily builds and automated runtime monitoring & alerts
• Implementation of development methodology and tools

We are currently looking for a driven .Net developer that will be part of our core dev team here in the center of Stockholm. The role involves designing and developing software solutions that impact on most areas of our business. You will be working in a small tech team in a very agile environment. At Mitigram we strive to meet our product goals as a team and we don't expect that you know everything about everything from the get-go, you will learn from your colleagues, but you should have at least 5 years of experience using the Microsoft technology stack. Our product is web based so we assume that you have knowledge in Javascript and CSS. The role will also include writing a lot of SQL code so we do expect good knowledge in this area.

In this role, you will:
- Programmatically implement business requirements
- Work closely with product and test team on requirements & bugs
- Maintain and evolve existing code
- Write unit and integration tests to assert quality
- Help transition the code base to CQRS
- Implement a new REST interface
- Assist the front-end team

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) but the position also requires close collaboration with the management and other members of the development team in order to ensure our goals are reached in time.
