We are now looking for an Diagnostic System Developer within the department of Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness!

 Description
 The Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness department is incorporated inside the Sales & Marketing Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.

As Diagnostic System Developer, you will be developing the aftermarket complete diagnostics system used by both in-house engineers, external suppliers and workshops around the world. The core of the diagnostic system is a web based back-office application serving a client application, over-the-air or with a tester connected.  

   

   The role as Diagnostic System Developer involves:

- Be responsible for developing and implementing new functionality.
- Be a part of continuous improvement of all included applications.
- Design and implement integrations to other systems used in the organization.
- Support the organization with competence in the domain.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related process

   We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of systems engineering/architecture
- Strong programming skills within C#, .NET, AngularJS, SQL
- Knowledge within continuous integration, deployment and MSI packaging
- Insight in the automotive industry and knowledge of ISO14229, ISO15765, ODX, DoIP, CAN, OBD, J2534.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

   To be successful in this role, you need to:

- Manage assignment by yourself in both structured and agile environments and be able to take business decisions on a daily basis
- Handle multiple tasks and always deliver on time
- Have functional and technical skills
- Be problem solving, action-orientated, creative and open minded
- An enthusiastic person who thrives in an agile working culture
- Abilities to deal with ambiguity as well as solving problems.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and always deliver on time.
- Team player characteristics. Work is done in cooperation and coordination within the group.
- Have good communications skills

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
