Post-doc: Machine learning and AI in digital infrastructures

The Network Intelligence group at RISE AI specializes in developing machine intelligence and smart control capabilities of networking technologies by applied AI, machine-learning and deep systems knowledge. Our work is fundamental for enabling future applications and services, such as massive IoT deployment, intelligent transportation and cloud robotics.

We currently have two open positions suitable for postdocs. The positions offer great opportunities to work in close collaboration with industrial and academic partners throughout Europe, as well as possibilities to drive research within short-term and long-term projects. The following qualifications are required:

* A PhD in computer science, electrical engineering or similar;
* substantial programming skills in at least one or several languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, Scala or similar;
* track record of developing, implementing and evaluating models in machine learning and analytics;
* documented knowledge or background in several of the following topics/fields:

* distributed and networked systems, control applications, SDN, VNF, SDR (e.g. srsLTE)
* AI, machine learning, analytics, optimization, probabilistic modelling, statistics;
* big data streaming and analytics processing tools and platforms (e.g. Flink, Spark, Storm, Hadoop);

* communication skills and professional proficiency in English in both speech and writing;

About the employment
Primary location is in Kista, Stockholm. We offer a full-time employment starting from one year with the possibility to extension. The employment will start when a suitable candidate has been found.
