Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned senior Android developer with strong UI experience to join our talent and innovative team. You have solid background and experience in developing high performance high reliability customer facing mobile applications. We are looking for someone who loves challenges and creating new boundaries. You are passionate about building world class enterprise software highly scalable used for top-notch global organizations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Contribute to design and development of our world class mobile applications. Write well designed, testable and efficient code. Contribute to technical innovations and keep improving on product quality and features. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies and features. Help improve the application framework that can support various Android devices and versions. Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Qualifications:
+ 2 years native Android Application development experience. Proven strong experience in Java programming. Deep understanding of the mobile technology including both front-end as well as threading and background services. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. Strong knowledge in Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices (but also where another approach would be better for our product). Proven design and development experience in highly used mobile applications. Familiar with build, bug tracking and source control systems. Good English skills, in both speaking and writing. Dependability, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and be a strong team player
Great knowledge, relational databases, storage engines, indexing and some form of abstraction technology, since most of our data is stored and retrieved using MySQL.
Experience Requirements:
BS Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience. Formal education is however not key, your practical skills and passion for development and system architecture is more important to us.
