Test Engineer

Swedium Global is hiring for test Engineer

Test Engineer (Core network functions, 3G/4G/5G, EPC, HSS/PCRF, IMS/VoLTE, Push To Talk, Tools: OSIX, Wireshirk)

• Contribute to the Clients Network services projects

o Review High level and low level design documents

o Take part in review of test spec together with vendors/suppliers

o Perform tests, take traces, troubleshoot and file defects

o Contribute towards test lab booking and lab maintenance

o Experience testing Core Network functions, ideally including EPC, HSS/PCRF, IMS/VoLTE, Push To Talk.

o Experience working with suppliers and customers

o Able to work at customer locations in Nordic area. May be intensive travel during testing periods

Technical skills

o 4+ years in testing from telecom operators/vendors

o Though understanding of regression, feature and performance testing

o Experience with test automation

o Knowledge of mobile networks (3G/4G/5G) and related protocols

o Knowledge of network tracing tools like OSIX, Wireshirk

o Scripting or programming knowledge (Selenium, Java, Python) is highly desirable

o Experience with Network virtualization and Cloud infrastructure

Personality

o Team player, collaborative

o Fast learner, independent, self-starter

o Ability to work in multiple projects at the same time
