SENIOR SOFTWARE ARCHITECT – CMS/Adobe Experience Manager 

This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic level at the same time as being close to the daily operation. Your technical skills and knowledge will be passed on to talented but perhaps less experienced developers and they will grow and develop thanks to you.  

You will be the acting Lead AEM Specialist and serve as a technical advisor and problem solver to clients and partners to assist them in optimizing their use of the particular Commerce product suite to successfully define, build and deploy online commerce and self-service applications. You are self-motivated and experienced with working in international, geographically distributed project environment (off-shoring of certain parts of the project).  

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager or another relevant CMS package.
• Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develop project plan incorporating all project variables, including risk.
• Establish measurable criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
• Lead the translation of the client’s business requirements into systems design.  Work with the client's IT organization to establish technology strategy at an application level.
• Establish high, mid and micro level plans and set technical direction for a team of up to 20 people.  An ability to act as a mentor to other technical staff is critical.
• Prepare elements of sales proposals to represent Publicis.sapient technical expertise
• In addition to working on billable client engagements, may also assist as needed on pre-sales opportunities such as RFP responses, proposal delivery, architecture assessments, and technical qualifications. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.  Profound experience in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design.  Excellent communication and leadership skills.   An ability to act as a mentor to other technical staff is critical.
• A background in consulting would be a plus.  Expert proficiency in Java, OO Application Development, under Mac OS, Windows, or Linux.  Knowledge of multiple other technologies including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and SQL.  Strong understanding of complex computer science and software engineering principles.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
• Experience in working in a global environment and team set up desired.  Fluency in Swedish and English.   Frequent travel and work at client site will be required.

Expertise:

• Should have delivered a CMS project preferably with AEM for a global roll out.
• Strong understanding of modern implementation techniques.
• Should have handled a team as an Architect (want to understand how hands on the person is).
• Can he help team members resolve technology issue, can he become an advisor to a customer related to technical challenges.
• Customer facing, managerial experience preferred.
• Has good understanding of CMS can be used as marketing site (personalization, integration with marketing tools, commerce platform etc.)
