The role
In the role as a Devops Engineer at ReachMee you will work together with our engineering teams to design, build and maintain our infrastructure, delivery pipeline and monitoring capabilities as well as the various tools we use to operate our technical platform. You will work in an agile environment with a strong focus on automation, reliability and continuous improvement. This role involves a lot of responsibility in designing and taking our technical platform to the next level.
As a team we also emphasize learning and development and meet in hackathons, book circles, tech lunches and in our Meetup-group TeachMee where we host talks about Python. All suggestions are welcome and we keep adding new interesting things as we go along.
Who are you?
For this role we imagine that you have a few years of previous experience within DevOps. As a person, you have a proactive and quality-oriented mindset, are eager to learn and have a strong drive to constantly improve things. You enjoy working in a cooperative and cross-functional environment and are generous in providing support and sharing knowledge with your colleagues.
Required skills:
• Continuous Integration in Jenkins or similar
• Linux and networks
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Basic programming skills, for example in Python, Ruby, Go or Java
• Knowledge of automation platforms such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Terraform
• Security
