Embedded Programmer to a manufacturing company

Do you a degree in computer science or electronics with documented experience from embedded programming? Modis are currently looking for an Embedded Programmer for a permanent employment at our client´s office in Gothenburg!

About the role
You will work as an Embedded Programmer for our client that is one of the world´s largest manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding. As an Embedded Programmer you will functioning as the embedded expert with a small agile team developing IoT solutions for the construction industry, interfacing with key suppliers and innovative environment developing IoT sensor technology for industrial applications. Some of your task fields are to work in tight cooperation with software & electronic development to realize an overall optimized system architecture with efficient protocols, maintaining the changelog and execute the change management and create documentation for internal and external purposes. Some of your core tasks are:

• Development of products within the IoT field
• Conception and realization of comprehensive device and software architecture for micro controller-based products
• Software architecture and programming mainly in C for embedded applications
• Ensuring high product quality by defining and executing platform-specific tests for hardware/software interaction
• Hands on work with assembling and testing hardware.

About you
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in computer science or electronics with documented experience within relevant field. You have advanced development skills in C and object-oriented programming for microcontroller base systems, good knowledge in GIT version handling, prior experience in agile development environments and basic knowledge of digital circuit design and analogue circuitry. Furthermore, preferably you have earlier experience in UDP and IP, CoAP, Python and node.js.
