We are building the next generation of communication system and are now looking for another great Baseband Developer to join us.

Job Summary

You will work in a team that has end-to-end responsibility for 5G baseband software products, including L1, L2 and scheduling. Your daily work will be working close to your team member and your product owner. This includes problem solving by analyzing requirements, software development, integration, verification, maintenance support and product documentation.

About us

We at Product Development Baseband (PD BB) are part of Product Development Unit 4G&5G (PDU 4G&5G). We drive end-to-end baseband software product development, relying on the competence and capability of our people to take on full feature responsibility i.e. enabling the implementation and verification of full feature requirements. The baseband software implements the layer 1 and layer 2 protocol layers of the Ericsson RAN product family. The software is deployed on Ericsson baseband boards where the baseband software interacts with layer 3 software, Radio modules and O&M. Based in Stockholm, we are proud to own the 5G/NR RBS baseband products and to be responsible for all product development planning and maintenance.

Your days will be filled with

Primarily develop software and solving problems
Implementation of 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Be part in early stages on setting what’s coming next

Who are you

You are curious with a hands-on can-do attitude

You have a strong interest in software development
You thrive working in a team where everyone’s opinion is valued
You have strong knowledge in C/C++/Java programming
You have general programming skills is an advantage, e.g. Erlang, Python.
You have a knowledge in telecom system
You love solving problems
You adhere to Lean and Agile principles
You have a MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
