Position
For our test and measurement team we are looking for a software engineer to take on the responsibility of designing and implementing test automation solutions for production, qualification, and product characterization.
We are working on "short range radio" modules to make the Internet of Things, IoT, become a reality. We focus on creating advanced software solutions to support production and tests of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that are used in customer-close applications.
We are located in a modern building near Dockan, in Malmö’s western harbor, within walking distance of the Central Station!

As part of a mixed and highly skilled SW/HW team your tasks will range from designing solutions to bringing them to work in production or R&D. Quality and maintainability are vital as we support multiple verification platforms and products.
We are looking for a versatile person with working experience in software development and a strong interest in data handling, and automated testing, with an interest in technology. You have a drive and a desire to automate everything. There will be opportunities to apply a wide range of skills such as troubleshooting, scripting, performance optimization, prototyping, analyzing test coverage, and much more.


Tasks
  • Software development towards a test framework using C#, Python, etc.
  • Database development and maintenance; data analysis
  • Embedded Linux test systems software development
  • Contribution to test specifications and test architecture
  • Software development to support the HW team for verification, test, and qualification
  • Production test systems optimization
Profile
  • Masters or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in object oriented software development Experience with:
    • C#, Python
    • database systems and data presentation
    • Git and SVN
    • Automated instrument control
    • Linux and shell scripting is an advantage
    • Yocto build systems hands-on experience is an advantage
    • Wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are an advantage
    • Knowledge about HW measurements is an advantage

  • Holder of a valid Swedish work permit
