As a part of this function, the R&D Technology and Execution team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including the underlying systems and architecture. The team is responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions.
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer who is highly proficient contributor at solving problems, and who believes in cooperation and team work to increase quality of delivered solutions.

You will help us design and develop the next generation of our market leading design and fabrication tools, with focus on the marine market. Some of the challenges you will meet are the sheer size of the complete solution, the complex problems to solve and our customers’ continuous push for excellence, and build enormously complex assets as efficiently as possible by delivering AVEVA’s solutions, thus enabling them to engineer smarter, operate better and elevate their industrial performance.

You will collaborate with colleagues in the Malmö office and with our teams around the world

In this role you will:
- Own end to end delivery of fixes and product enhancements that follow established coding patterns.
- Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
- Plan work spanning multiple sprints
- Promote processes, procedure and best practices for the team and suggest improvements to products

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- Experience of developing professional software application in the Windows and .NET environment.
- Be able to demonstrate examples of strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, one of which must be C++
- Exceptional communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including product owners, testers and product support across our sites.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience of task based, multi-site configuration management, eg ADO and GIT
- Skilled in using the Visual Studio development environment
- AI/ML experience
- Experience using AGILE methodologies
- Experience in developing software deployed in the cloud
- User interface and user experience design skills
