Thule Sweden AB, Hillerstorp

Thule Group’s product portfolio is growing and there is a steady stream of new development projects. To enable the expansion and in parallel support the R&D organization we need to strengthen the Design Department with an CMF Designer based at our Global Product Development Center in Hillerstorp.

As our new CMF Designer you will work with color, material and finish designs for all projects within the Thule brand. The CMF Designer will take part in trend research, analysis and translation, mood and story creation, visual material innovation as well as color and textile execution in development projects. You will be working through the full product development cycle, and you collaborate and strategize with cross functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to implement production of final CMF designs.

To do this with success we believe that you deliver and communicate relevant ideas to current stake holders, from concepts to detailed solutions, in line with the design philosophy and adapted to the product identity.
You have a strong understanding of design principles and a developed aesthetic sense together with an extensive knowledge of mass production, relevant manufacturing processes and materials.
You work comfortably with hands-on product development, building mock-ups and prototypes as well as utilizing digital tools (e.g. Keyshot, Photoshop and Illustrator)
You have an academic degree in related fields together with couple of years’ experience.
We require excellent communication skills in English and we expect you to be comfortable in facilitating workshops and creating convincing visual and verbal presentations.

We believe in strong team work both within your own team but also across teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another. Within Thule Group you will find people who have a passion for the products we make and the active lifestyle we enable. We share the same values and we like to have fun. All of our employees have a joint responsibility to maintain that spirit and contribute to it.

New offices, more space and a highly equipped Product Development center with a very impressive Global Test Center are investments that we are proud of.
We also try to engage as much as possible in the nearby community to help develop a pulsate and sustainable future.
