Bantaba is a knowledge and funding platform for African startups. Despite a 22% entrepreneurship rate, 70% of startups in Africa lack access to talent and capital. This is the problem we are solving.

About the role:

We are now looking for a Full Stack developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, independent minded with a strong interest in Africa’s startup ecosystem. The role is based at our office in Stockholm.

What you’ll be doing:

Your main task is to develop and maintain Vuejs, Nodejs and Reactjs projects, and bring our digital platform to the next level. You will be working directly with the CTO.

Role requirements:

• Experience in Vue.JS and React JS 

• Experience in Nodejs 

• Experienced with MySQL and MongoDB 

• TypeScript NestJs

• Git, Bitbucket and AWS

• Microservices Architecture,

• Experience using APIs (Axios)  and understanding HTTP, REST.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience 

• Fluent in English language 

  
  

Meriting, but not required:

• Experience within Fintech 

• Experience working in a Startup environment 

• Knowledge/Interest in Africa’s startup ecosystem 

You will take on big responsibilities and have a strong influence on our tech stack. You will also learn a lot about emerging market startups, and yes you will be among the people that will shape the future of Africa’s startup ecosystem.
