Description

We are currently looking for a Tools & SW Integration Engineer within Motion & Control department. Motion & Energy department is responsible development of new global electrified powertrains from the early concept phase to industrialization. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will continue to be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. client is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.

As Tools & SW Integration Engineer, you will work as a DevOps engineer in an organization using agile software development environment. The pace is high, and the work is within all development steps from idea creation, requirements definition, implementation, and verification. You will work in the Kanban/Scrum Team consisting of Tools and DevOps engineers.

Tasks

• Create and develop build environment for different projects
• Create and develop development environment for different projects
• Develop and maintain the HIL environment for different projects
• Automate the tool chain in the CI/CD system
• Develop and maintain services in the Docker and Kubernetes clusters
• Drive continuous progress and improvements in the Tools and SW Integration team

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science related engineering field
• At least 5 years’ experience of developing, configuration and using Continuous Integration environments, e.g. Jenkins CI or similar
• Experience in developing and maintaining containerized services in a secure way
• Comfortable in and working for a DevOps culture
• Strong programming background using one or several of the following languages:
o Python or other similar languages
o Good overall knowledge and experience of embedded software development in C-language
o Experience of software development in C++ language
o Bash and Windows batch or other similar languages
o Experience in building software using Make/CMake or other similar build environments
o JS NodeJS
• Setup and configuration of MATLAB/Simulink or similar MBD environments
• Knowledge and experience within CAE and HIL system with emphasis on Vector systems
• Knowledge in CAN communication and Control units in vehicle electrical system
• Good overall knowledge experience of Autosar (Classic and Adaptive)
• Good overall knowledge and experience of ASpice (Classic and Adaptive) and functional safety
• Overall knowledge of embedded control systems and model-based function development
• Good overall knowledge of agile software development
• Outstanding communication and presentation and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Fluent in English
