Function Owner Interior Light - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Description

We are looking for a function owner in the Interior Light area. You will also help us transform from a traditional automotive waterfall ways-of-working to an agile environment, hence previous experience in agile transformation is especially meriting.

As function owner, the work flow is to design a function by creating and breaking down requirements to different levels. This job requests a high level working both within the team, outside towards other teams/ subsystems and the components which are involved to fulfilling Interior Light functionality. The job requires tracking of all progress of software development made by the ECU supplier towards developing functions and attributes realized by multiple systems. Internally Client and externally towards VCC/Geely and the supplier. Follow up issues in Client engineering systems. Reporting back progress to the managers.

Tasks

o Proposing new content/ideas on interior lighting
o Create Customer requirements, Use cases or User stories
o Create Function Description Requirements
o Function Description Alternative (FDA) design and review
o Function Design (FDR)
o Function content review with Attribute, UX and Project discussions
o Check traceability matrices
o Function Safety design and review
o System-Weaver requirement distribution
o Create Analysis & Verification Needs
o Create/own Function Implementation Plan and critical chain planning
o Give input to Owner’s Manual
o Bug investigation and follow-up
o FMEA status follow-up
o Write & Define interface and communicate function scope.
o Function related benchmark review
o HARA documentation and review
o Participate in homologation activities for respective function
o Function test and implementation follow-up
o Function implementation and status reporting to projects and other stake holders.
o Benchmarking
o Map Use cases and requirements on all affected projects in matrix
o Keep overall check of implementation of functions on system and component level.
o Communicate with hardware (ECU) owners and check supplier status.
o Fulfilling attribute, legal and stakeholder requirements
o Design Review of Functions

Qualifications

• M.Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive system engineering and/or function ownership.
• Knowledge of Infotainment and vehicle architecture
• Knowledge in the Infotainment area for navigation is especially meriting.
• Ability to learn from others quickly to then teach, lead, and apply knowledge
• Ability to lead others, report to a project, and engage effectively in cross-functional organizations
• You are an inspiring and motivating leader that are great at supporting teams to get things done
• Comfortable in pushing the boundaries of what is possible to define new features and services in order make our solutions exciting, new and breath-taking

• You have experience car infotainment and connected services and apps
