You will work within the Customer Attraction area, a product area responsible for all digital marketing capabilities across the H&M group. Our mission is to attract new and existing customers into our stores, both digital and physical, across all 8 brands and 74+ markets. Our vision is to lead the H&M Group into the future of digital retail, with our growth and retention marketing tech capabilities. 

Who are you? 

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented software engineer who has experience in Azure/GCP DevSecOps and potentials in building and supporting a micro-service architecture requirement and able to lead a team of software engineers

What will you do? 

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and competence lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical implementation and maintenance of automation infrastructure, improve the collaboration and productivity of the software development team members you are responsible for.  This includes providing a robust CI/CD pipeline, allowing code to be validated for quality and security as well as deployed in a continuous fashion. 

You will be a part of a global cross functional agile product team, working with a range of end-to-end solutions. You will play a leading role in technical development and architecture - helping the team with software quality and take personal ownership of the product you ship. Actively seeking ways to shift its design into a cloud enabling microservices architecture. Establishing a holistic view of how the solution adds value to the business. 

As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for the entire software life cycle, design, development, test, release, and maintenance. Able to translate business needs into working software. Regardless of area, tools or languages. Enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation. ​ 

We believe you are result oriented with a great understanding of incremental/agile development. We expect you to work and collaborate closely with team members, product owners and other engineering teams, share best practices as well as discuss and motivate design solutions. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Define, design, build and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to enable high level of automation in test, release, and support processes for DevSecOps operations 

  • Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks 

  • Performing vulnerability assessment and risk management, ensuring that systems and architecture is safe and secure against cybersecurity threats 

  • Experience in integration development: API driven, Containerization, Microservices oriented, file-based integration and handling transformations. 

  • Assist with delivering proof of concept, supporting solution architects and product team in shaping cloud-based solutions, and creating technical recommendations and documentation 

  • Provide technical leadership and direction in the DevSecOps domain 

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers 

  • Experience of working in agile development organizations 

Qualifications

We believe you are communicative, have a "You build it you run it" mindset and able to work in an environment that is not yet fully formalized. More specifically you need to have/are: 

  • Experience on the multi-cloud, preferably GCP/Azure platforms and resourceso i.e. Service bus, Data Lake, API Management, Logic app, App Service, Cloud Function, Event hub, Pipelines, SQL Server etc. 

  • Experience with several common programming and scripting languages, such as C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, etc. 

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience within DevOps area, having a deep DevSecOps expertise 

  • Working according to enterprise architecture frameworks; principles, policies, standards, patterns, roadmaps 

  • Good understanding of the overall GCP/Azure infrastructure 

  • Knowledge of Github, Jira, Confluence, Splunk etc. 

  • Previous experience working with delivering of technical features 

  • Experience of working closely with functional developers and technical teams 

  • Good understanding of the different solution layers from front-end/APP to cloud setup 

  • Good knowledge with API integration (REST API, Web API) and online marketing platform integration such as Google, facebook, Instagram, snapchat, tiktok etc 

  • Good understanding how new functionality will affect performance and scalability 

It’s a plus if you have: 

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent).  

  • Had experience as a SCRUM master  

  • Have worked within retail industry

  • Have engineering background
