Application Security Engineer

Job Description

We look for a self-driven engineer who will improve secure development at Snow Software. In this role you will promote best practices, give talks and training, review code, build automation for ensuring code security in CI/CD and useful tools to find issues in existing products. You will also be a point of contact for external security engagements and perform in-house penetration testing.  Also, you’ll get direct mentorship, access to books, chance to work with amazing colleagues in a cool office.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • First-hand knowledge of secure development principles for any of C#.NET, Golang or Javascript
  • Experience and/or certification in Azure Fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Experience with CI/CD and automation of security analysis
  • Scripting experience
  • Experience with manual security testing  

Nice-to-have:

  • Communication skills and ability to give talks and facilitate workshops
  • OSCP Certification is a plus
  • Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
