Job Description

Are you an experienced solutions builder, a roll-up-your-sleeves person who wants a daily collaborative environment, where you share new ideas with your colleagues? We’re hiring for our platform team, a cross­-functional set of people focused on building internal services and systems, as well as the application framework and pipelines that other teams build upon.

As a Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be working closely on several projects including fully automated build and deployment pipeline, microservice management and orchestration, dynamic environment creation and destruction, world-wide multi-provider deployments, etc. These projects are targeted at further enabling the company to grow its market presence on a global level by increasing our infrastructure scalability and resilience ahead of the anticipated business needs while simplifying development flows and optimizing costs.

This role is development heavy, a solid knowledge of programming/scripting is required. To succeed in this role, you are enthusiastic, team-oriented, and comfortable communicating across team and geographic locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Building internal tools with a focus on automation and resilience.

● Making sure development environments and related tools work, and are adhering to best practices.

● Continuous improvement to existing solutions and systems.

● Communicating clearly with other teams in different geographical location, as well as handling issues related to deployments, build, etc.

● Managing a global infrastructure spread over different providers.

● Communicate regularly with our 24/7 operations team.

Qualifications

● Are a team player

Have experience with deploying and managing a global infrastructure with region-based load balancing

● Have worked with automation, logging and monitoring

● Jenkins experience

● Ansible experience

● Have experience with automating any of the following:

○ Infrastructure provisioning and maintenance

○ Deployment pipelines

○ Build pipelines

○ Self healing clusters

● Develop tools to deal with a container-based microservice infrastructure

● Have done development with Python/Go/Java/nodejs or similar language

● Professional English proficiency or better

We would like you a little bit more if you have a proven record with:

● GCE, Rackspace or equivalent cloud services

● Securing applications and their environment

● Service discovery

● Containers and Container orchestration (Kubernetes)

● Experience with Google Deployment Manager
