Avida is a credit-market company under the supervision of the Swedish authority Finansinspektionen. Avida offers financial solutions to businesses through invoice finance, collection and invoice administration. Avida also provides personal loans and savings accounts covered by the state guarantee of deposits. Avida has around 120 employees with the head office located in Stockholm and branches in Oslo and Helsinki.

We are looking for Software Engineers and Tech Leads to join our growing tech team.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Avida your main responsibility is software development and building great digital products for our business and consumer customers. You will be a part of a team and will be responsible for planning, technical design, development and documentation of the built solutions.

As a Tech Lead you will have the overall responsibility for the delivery and act as a leader within your team. You will develop a good understanding of the business and our products. You will work in close collaboration with the architects and products owners, as well as the business stakeholders, to make sure the solutions that we build come out as working products that match the stakeholders needs

Some examples of what you will be doing:

• Full stack development, we work with C#, SQL, Azure and JavaScript
• Collaborating with your team members as well as driving your own projects
• Tight interaction with stakeholders within and outside of our organization
• Translating end user requirements into functioning products

Who are you?

You will also need:

• Computer Science or related technical degree
• 4+years’ experience as a Software Engineer and at least 2+ years of experience within the .NET framework
• Good understanding in writing testable and maintainable code
• Experience in visualizing software architecture and can describe how a system is built
• Previous experience of software development in teams
• Knowledge of .NET Core, Azure, AWS or some other cloud platform is a plus
• Fluent in English; Swedish, Norwegian and/or Finnish is a plus
