As a Security Operations Analyst at Kindred you will join 3 other members in the Security Operations Line that is a part of the Group Security team. The team has two other groups: one is responsible for governance, risk and compliance and one is responsible for the offensive technical work such as verifying Kindred´s security systems and applications and developing tools to improve the system. The Security Operations line is responsible for the defensive work. Including making sure all the relevant information is monitored, searching for threats, gathering intelligence, finding patterns and solutions to improve the security at Kindred.
As a graduate in the accelerate program you will be responsible for or take part in different projects like threat intelligence and hunting, automation of collection of alerts or of incident response through our Incident Response Platform, analysis of phishing threats, incident response or awareness campaigns towards internal users. This position suits someone with a great interest in IT security. You will work closely with the team in exciting projects and while keeping up with the latest technologies.
The accelerate program will start in September 2019 and is located in Stockholm. During the program you are going to work as a consultant through Studentwork. Kindreds ambition is to hire every consultant after the 6 months program, if both parts are satisfied with the collaboration.
Curious and always trying to learn new tricks, at the moment you are studying Computer Science, IT Security, Development or another similar education within IT and you will graduate in spring 2019. You have a great interest in IT security and an understanding of Python, C++ or another similar language. If you have a project to show it will be a big plus!

The Boot Camp
We will kick start with a two-week Boot Camp designed to accelerate your start at Kindred.
Week 1: Focus will be on getting you settled in at Kindred and learn about our culture and our core values. What are they and why are they important to us and to you. You will also get to know your fellow graduates and the colleagues that will support you on your journey.
Week 2: During the second week we will focus on the business.
How do we achieve success? What is success? What are the different parts of the company and what do they do? How do we work within Tech? Our products, learning by playing.
The 6 months Program
During the remaining time you will mainly be working in your team towards becoming a fully contributing team-member. You will be doing On the Job Training by gradually doing more and more complex tasks related to the team responsibility. You will do this in close collaboration with and supported by your mentor.
