Our growing scooter club is currently looking for aHead of BI / Analytics!As part of the Engineering team you will play an important role in helping VOI achieve its potential through leveraging the power of Data. Since we are a startup we expect you to be able to tackle things hands on as well as leading your growing team, bridging into a managerial role.

You will from day one be managing a team of data scientists and will have large autonomy on how to continue building your team. The role is a key role in the engineering team since we believe in data driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has:

- A degree in a quantitative field of studies (economics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or similar)
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Prior experience leading data analytics/science projects (2+ years), with best-practices on project structure and data management
- Programming experience in Python, R, SQL (BigQuery and Postgres), and familiar with programming practices e.g. version control, CI/CD
- Experience building models and extracting insights from large spatiotemporal datasets
- Strong statistical skills, including machine-learning models (both supervised and unsupervised methods)
- Experience with cloud-computing platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)
- Work in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with non-technical business executives to define core-business problems and deliver data-driven solution
- Familiar with agile methodologies
- Working experience with BI tools, including dashboarding

Other things that may be necessary in future:

- Experience working with big-data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark etc.)
- Knowledge of A/B testing
- Architecturing data-pipelines, A/B testing system
