In the transforming transport industry there are many opportunities for new solutions and business. Scania is now looking for a software developer with a genuine interest in understanding the customer’s business and the new set of problems they are facing.

Job description
Our team is responsible for developing solutions for equipment uptime follow-up and production flow monitoring. We are today five Software Developers and one Product Owner in the team. We work in close collaboration with business development and the end users. The team decides how to work and which technologies that best support us in building the software. For the current projects, we use .NET, Angular and Microsoft Azure Cloud.

About you
We believe that you have a holistic view on the development cycle and therefore do not want to focus solely on a specific part of the problem. You appreciate the value of good cooperation and you are comfortable with the agile culture and ways of working. We also believe that you are a problem solver driven by customer needs rather than a specific technical stack. Moreover, you feel comfortable delivering in short iteration cycles.

Your profile
We want you to have good understanding of programming principles and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of Agile. We also want you to be curious and to have the ability to learn new technology domains. You are fluent in English at professional business level. We also value if you have a multidisciplinary background beyond developing web applications, e.g. physics or embedder systems.

You have professional work experience developing applications using .Net, Angular, Microsoft Azure Cloud and MSSQL. We also appreciate if you have experience being a Scrum master.

We believe that in addition to hiring the best talent, a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures leads to the creation of a better work environment and services.
