About the role

As an Android Developer you will be a part of a cross-functional product team of 6-9 other developers and 2 designers, where you will be responsible for developing projects to completeness, mainly written in Kotlin. You will be advancing the technical platform by driving the architectural design of components used throughout the application forward and advocating for technical changes, but you will also be involved in the TDD or BDD development process.

Qapital is looking for

In the role as an Android Developer you will probably have accumulated significant experience in Kotlin or Java, and have been a part of building one or more apps. You probably have experience of Android UI development and the implementation of Material Design interfaces from either past employment or open source projects. We believe that you are familiar with RxJava and/or Reactive programming models. It’s a plus if you have experience with Android Databinding and Model- View- Presenter architecture.

Qapital think that you are a design-oriented Android developer, who takes pride in writing a clean code and doing your own testing. You are a person who likes to learn new techniques and when there’s a lot going on. Since Qapital customers are based in the US and your colleagues are based there and in Stockholm, you need to be able to communicate efficient in English both written and spoken. About your education, you might have one but it’s not necessary if you’re an amazing and driven Android Developer.
