Help to design the electrified and efficient powertrains of the future! We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about taking our software development into the future for the role of Configuration Manager.

The Transmission System Software group is responsible for the complete gearbox and powertrain control system, including system architecture, safety concepts and tool and process support. Our group is characterised by a strong sense of community and team spirit, and great enthusiasm for continued development.

 

Your duties

As a Configuration Manager, you will be the hub of the network for the section’s software development, and will also have advanced technological responsibility.

You will lead and coordinate our software releases to testing, and as a result you will have contact with the code development teams, system owners, test managers and object management. You will also be responsible for leading the section’s Change Control Board.

Your responsibilities will also include the development and management of the common code and requirements structure, development of our automated test capabilities and software branching and versioning.

In parallel with day-to-day operations, long-term strategic work is also required, with a focus on developing strategies, methods and tool support for issues such as automated testing and SW deployment.

 

Your profile

You will have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or Systems Science, or possess equivalent knowledge from work experience within software development of real-time systems. You will have good knowledge of the development of real-time systems, and will have experience in coding, preferably in C, Matlab Simulink and Python, XML or equivalent.

You have significant motivation och initiative and can guide the organisation towards its set goals. You are a good communicator with the ability to lead and motivate colleagues in work, and you also have the ability to grasp the details when needed. You can bring structure to complex tasks.

You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in English. Experience from the automotive industry and of working with safety-critical systems would be an advantage.
