As a SEO Specialist you are an expert in onsite factors, have extensive knowledge of SEO specific tools and technology, a passion for, and the solid understanding of, performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition. These are key elements to support our ambition to become the world’s leading multichannel home furnishing retailer. • Proven SEO experience
• Able to sell ideas and concepts internally & can contextualise and communicate complex SEO issues for others.
• Innovative in the digital area, eager to bring new conceptual ideas to IKEA
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Proven experience with SEO and website analytics tools.
• Digital communication knowledge of Content Management System
• Intermediate knowledge of technologies, Javascript frameworks, HTML, CSS

About the job

The Digital unit leads the operation and development of IKEA.com, creating an outstanding digital experience. The purpose of the function is to create and support an easy, intuitive digital experience across all channels that provides the many people with access to a seamless, modern and inspiring IKEA.

In the role as the Search Optimisation Specialist you will manage all SEO activities from development to optimisation to reach visitation goals and increase rankings on all major search networks.

About the assignment

The Search Engine Optimisation Specialist will continuously work with the development team to ensure that SEO practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. You will also recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target topics.

Key assignment tasks are to:
• Solid knowledge on technologies affecting on-site SEO factors
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
• Support the optimisation team with SEO inputs and guidance
• Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
• Research and analyse competitors

As Search Engine Optimisation Specialist, you will report to the Search Engine Optimisation manager at IKEA Group. The position is a full-time, permanent employment located in Malmö, Sweden.
