Devops engineer

THE CHALLENGE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to create strategic solutions for managing the production and development infrastructure of our world-class gaming platform, implement and improve technical operations best practices.

You will be working in an agile environment and in close collaboration with developers as part of a DevOps team supporting our gaming platform. The platform is central to the company strategy as it manages all our brands.

It is built using technologies such as WEB API’s, NoSQL databases, Kafka. We are continuously pushing our products to the next level so the focus is always high on quality, reliability, performance and scalability. Currently we are making the journey towards containerization based on Docker, Kubernetes and .NET Core.

Defining and implementing modern containerization and cloud solutions

Continuously improving and developing our CI/CD pipelines

Close involvement in the software development process, supporting developers with things like deployment, building and optimizing code

Using and integrating a wide variety of technologies and tools

YOU’RE GOOD AT:

Optimizing existing systems for scalability and building large-scale infrastructure

Distributed systems, micro-services (Docker, Kubernetes) and service discovery

IaaS and PaaS Cloud (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) and hybrid environments

Building and improving CI/CD pipelines

Server virtualization (VMware)

Automation and scripting

Optimizing code

Windows, Linux

Collaboration and taking initiative

EXTRA AWESOME:

A development background, with experience in C#/.NET

Messaging and push methodologies like Kafka, SQL etc.
