One of the doers we are looking for is a UX Designer to work with our cross functional product design team. This is a great chance to join us in the beginning of our journey, with the opportunity to shape the way we work to solve our customers most important challenges. In this position, you are based in our brand-new office at Regeringsgatan, in the heart of Stockholm, and global travel is a natural part of the job.

Job Summary
In this role, you work in close collaboration with our global customers to identify, prototype and build compelling, purposeful and human-centered digital services.

Your responsibilities:
• Identifying target users and tasks to enable creation of user personas as well as customer and user mapping
• Shaping, embodying and driving design thinking, focusing on human-centered design to guide our internal organization towards purposeful digital user experiences
• Working in close collaboration with product managers and delivery managers as design consultant for internal Sandvik products
• Curating a design practice that improves consistency, speed and quality of design deliverables
• Iterating on multiple design ideas and validating them with end users to identify user requirements
• Communicating your ideas to cross-functional design teams with proper design rationale

Your skills and qualifications
You have at least four years’ experience within UX and Product Design, and extensive experience in defining, iterating and designing prototypes in highly collaborative environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Since our team is truly international, you have exceptional skills in written and verbal English.

Other required skills and experiences:

• Fluency in design thinking and human-centered design principles
• A portfolio to showcase previous work and progress iteration, including user testing and validation
• Innate excitement for solving hard problems from a customer-oriented, outside-in perspective
• Attitude of continuous learning, and genuine enthusiasm for creating success together with others
• Effective ability to prioritize between multiple projects and managing your workload in a sustainable matter
