Job Description

At DNEW there is a PDU named BNEW ICT Development Environment, BID.

The mission for BID is to have an engineering environment that provides best in class time-to-market, cost efficiency and with excellent quality, both for present and future business needs. This will be achieved by enabling flow and transparency, enhance collaboration with aligned way of working as well as reducing cost through infrastructure sharing.

One of the CI Engine sections within BID now has a need to increase our Continuous Integration Environment team with more developers.

We strive to provide the state of the art CI-Engine to the users in the PDU where 5G is in focus.
Git, Gerrit and Jenkins is a vital part of our new environment and we are designing new microservices for our existing and future CI flows to cater for the future needs and increased load that 5G will require.

Architecture, design, development, operation and support is all in the team’s responsibility. That include work with DNEW CI architecture and development team and continuous look for what’s new on the marked. This also includes driving environment/process improvements and optimize usability and stability of the environment, as well as handling day to day issues/tasks. The team aim is to automate as many as possible of the manual work tasks with analytics built in and to continue designing microservice systems, so experience and competence in automation and test will be necessary.

As a person you are open-minded and a good team player, but also work well independently. You are curious about our CI Engine users and want to support them with your expertise.

You are highly technical, and you are enthusiastic about creating something new. You share your ideas and use your own and other's experiences to succeed.

You will be a part of a team with members in Stockholm/Kista, collaborating closely with our other CI-Engine teams located in Kista, Linköping, Beijing, Seoul, Hungary, Ukraine and Ottawa.

Qualification:

Experience in Java programming
Knowledge in Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
Experience of supporting software developers and their tools
Your English skills are excellent, both verbally and writing
Proven skills in cross functional team work, preferably in Agile/Scrum teams
Bachelor or Master of Science

Good to have:

Experience in working with microservices and cloud environment
Experience from setting up automated test chains
Experience in the analytic/machine learning area
Knowledge in many languages primarily shell, Java, python, Perl, C/C++
Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gerrit, Jenkins, Nexus
Databases, metadata, test result handling
