The Automation & Digital organisation is engaged in the development of new digital technologies for Tetra Pak Equipment and Services, as well as new Digital products based on the digitalisation of our packaging material. In the area of high-level SW development the organisation is specialising in: 1) industrial IoT Data Systems, with technology ranging from embedded software to cloud-based software; 2) development of our equipment automation SW platform for a modern PLC/IPC architecture; and 3) development of our Manufacturing Execution Systems as part of Tetra Pak® PlantMaster. Development is being done in close cooperation with colleagues from our embedded automation software as well as colleagues in our Global Information management IT organisation.

We are seeking several professionals for the positions of Software Developers within the Industrial IoT Data Systems department, Manufacturing Execution Systems department and Embedded Automation SW platform department.

These positions are based in Lund and require travelling up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

You will maintain and develop the future state digitalisation vision with an automation SW platform and application of Industrial IoT Data to ensure cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions and services.

You will also be responsible for development and maintenance of SW for data analytics in the area of:
-Data capturing and data processing applications for connected industrial equipment and devices
-Data storage and data analytics including edge and cloud analytics capability
-Cloud platform specification and requirements toward IT delivery partners

You will supply knowledge, capacity and delivery in development SCRUM teams and maintain and extend existing data analytics applications. You will be based in Lund but work in a global arena. Some travelling is required.

Who you are

The successful candidate has an M.Sc. Automation Engineering / Computer Science degree or equivalent. Experience from high-level software, automation or digitally-related products development is required, but fresh graduates with an interest in new software technologies and digitalisation are also welcome to apply. Strong interest in the development of digital technology (IoT, data management, automation SW platforms, data logging) and previous experience in an agile working environment are highly valued. Thorough experience in Microsoft .Net C# programming, Web application development (ASP.Net), SQL data-base systems including Reporting Services and SW architecture are required. The professional skills needed in this role are collaborative capability and the ability to work in a multi-organisational environment. You are a self-motivated person with a strong results orientation.

Good communication skills are needed, and as the work is conducted in an international environment, being comfortable in the English language, written as well as spoken, is required.
