As a Data Scientist you will have the unique opportunity to work for market leading clients and you will be responsible for understanding business needs and translate them into data-driven tools and recommendations. Your stakeholders will be all the other tech, marketing and sales teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for making sure that your stakeholders can take data-driven decisions, by:

• Translating business needs into quantitative terms and data requirements
• Identifying and formulating technical requirements to our tech teams
• Proactively identifying relevant questions, providing analysis and insight
• Designing experiments to test product features
• Implementing and maintaining advanced statistical models
• Aggregating and enhancing big data with external sources
• Building fault-tolerant pipelines
• Ensuring data quality
• Communicating results in a clear and effective way

Some of the languages and technologies that we use are, but not limited to Python, Pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS S3, Glue, Athena, Django

Your background

• Education in math, statistics, physics or similar quantitative disciplines
• Able to write readable and maintainable code
• Experience with some or all the technologies mentioned above
• You can explain technical findings to a non-technical team
• A genuine interest in learning and experimenting new technologies
• You are a team player
