Hosting Systems Expert

Job description:
Jeppesen is looking for a Systems expert, who will be responsible for design, maintenance and support of Jeppesen?s mission critical Crew and Fleet systems in our customer?s hosted environment. You will work in a global hosting team and will be based in Gothenburg. In your daily work you will troubleshoot, diagnose and solve complex multiplatform issues with both hardware and software as well as providing technical support to other departments. You will participate in the entire lifecycle of the hosting service, from inception and design, to delivery and operational maintenance. Previous experience in pre-sales efforts involving hosting or SaaS solutions considered a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- At least 5 years administration experience in RHEL, Windows.
- At least 2 years experience with database administration in Oracle Database
- At least 3 years experience with Server configuration
- Virtualization Technologies ? Xenserver, VMWare and RHEV
- Application Virtualization - XenApp
- DevOps ? Docker, Rockets, Continuous delivery
- Hosting concepts including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.
- Java application platforms ? JBOSS
- Understanding client-server and web based technologies and applications
- Good understanding of routing protocols, ipsec tunnels, etc.
- Fluent in English and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
