At the moment we are looking for a Continuous Integration Engineer to join our Video Hosting Systems group within the New Business team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis Video Hosting System (AVHS) is a Linux based video surveillance system that offers our customers video surveillance services and video hosting in the cloud. The products has tens of thousands concurrent users with high demands on software security, robustness and stability.

As Continuous Integration Engineer at the Video Hosting System group you will be working in a modern Agile way to develop, maintain and deploy CI related tools. You will be managing, building, configuring and maintaining all hardware and software infrastructure that comprises environments for the AVHS development team. You will spend your time writing code, scripting and maintaining our build environment on a daily basis. Some of the key tasks are resolving complex Linux systems administration issues, reduce integration problems allowing the projects to deliver software more rapidly as well.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have a master’s degree in computer science or similar, and at least 5 years of software engineering experience in working with continuous integration tools. You will be part of a highly agile team with dedicated colleagues who are open to new ideas. Creativity and innovation is always encouraged, and the work you do will be noticed and make a difference.

You have experience in:
• Linux systems
• Scripting and automation using shell and Python
• Virtualization technologies such as VMWare, VirtualBox etc.
• Standard web software packages and languages like PHP, Nginx, MySQL, Apache
• Good knowledge of source control management system (e.g. Git, Gerrit, Subversion)
• Familiarity with unit tests and test automation techniques
• Knowledge of "agile" software development (e.g. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, shared ownership, etc.)

OUR NEW BUSINESS TEAM
The New Business team that is a unique group within Axis. The group is responsible for both evaluating new business ideas from a technical and a commercial perspective, and product development to offer customers the best products on the market. The team has market oriented business development resources as well as product development resources.

The VHS group is responsible for the AVHS (Axis Video Hosting Solution) product within the New Business team. The AVHS product is supporting the majority of all existing and new products that Axis is developing and is in the forefront of video security surveillance systems and continuously adds new innovative features and technology.
