Backend Developer to Sweden's most exciting cleantech company

Ferroamp is looking for an experienced backend developer who wants to be part of the global expansion of Sweden's most exciting cleantech company. With sustainable solutions, Ferroamp is developing new technology for the future energy supply.

Ferroamp has developed a world-unique system that streamlines and simplifies the use of renewable energy, energy storage and EV chargers in real estate. During the past year, a number of pilots have been delivered, which are the first of its kind in Sweden, while at the same time Ferroamp has managed to deliver more than 400 systems.

Ferroamp has also won a number of prestigious awards. Among other, the 2016 EES Award (the Nobel Prize for batteries) and 2018 the Smart E Award which is equal to the World Cup in smart grids. In 2019, Ferroamp was the only Swedish company to be listed on the Global Cleantech 100 list.

Ferroamp is now ready to expand and at the end of March, they are taking the steps towards a listing on Nasdaq First North. Important steps forward are an aggressive market initiative along with an industrialization of their products and the launch of a cloud-based service platform.

The position

Ferroamp is a company that is growing rapidly with the ambition to more than double its turnover each year. The ambition is to become one of the world's largest platforms for energy optimization. Today, there are databases with about 1000 inserts per second with a growth rate of 50 million lines per day.

Ferroamp is facing a very exciting future and is now strengthening the cloud team with an experienced backend developer who will play a key role in the company's expansion.

Your responsibility is to maintain and develop the system architecture for the platform and back-end software in a way that provides the desired functionality, security and user-friendliness in the web interface (front end).

You will work with backend systemization and programming. An important part of your responsibility is to ensure optimal system solution for servers, databases and software. You will also develop and scale up the platform in AWS and develop system security and ensure system stability.

Your profile

You enjoy working in teams and want to work in a creative environment where you are given the opportunity to work with technology in the forefront. You are driven, structured and orderly. You have an analytical mind and like to find solutions to problems. You are happy to share your knowledge.

You have solid experience from similar roles. You have good knowledge and experience from NodeJS, AWS, Ubuntu, Cloud/IT Security, MongoDB, MySQL, Nginx. You are familiar with Docker, GCP, CI, Microservice, Serverless. You speak and write fluent in English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
