Business Unit Products within IST Group is looking for a whole bunch of developers to join our teams in our HQ in Växjö.

About IST Products

Business Unit Products is the department within the IST Group that produces our next generation of administrative software for the school and childcare domain. Our products’ enables the staff, students and parents to spend more time on what’s important, to Learn More.

Development within IST Products always strives for continuous improvement, of both our processes and products, and we spend a big part of our capacity to do so, each iteration! About the job

You will join the development department and one of our cross functional development teams consisting of developers, testers, a tech lead and a product owner. We believe in self organizing teams which will give you both freedom, responsibility and involvement while developing you team’s systems - making work technically challenging and fun for all!

Your profile

We look for either newly graduated, junior or more senior developers to work with both backend services and frontend UI systems.

You enjoy working in a team - as a team - and like us, you really believe in the agile methodologies and processes.

We believe you have good communication skills and not only like to contribute to your team and the people around you but also to the organization as a whole. As a person you show great responsibility, tend to make things happen and you welcome change. We expect you to enjoy being part of an agile and healthy changing environment.

Backend profile

You have experience in Java - or similar languages but are willing to learn. Our tech stack also includes Spring, Hibernate, Junit, Tomcat, Oracle, MongoDB and more.

We have a micro service architecture so events and REST API’s is a given, and with our web-based nature you are also willing to learn related front-end technologies.

Full-stack profile

Besides Java and other things from the backend profile, you enjoy working with web and JavaScript, such as Vue.js. You will need the ability to think from a user perspective and it’s not negative if you have a sense for graphic design.
