Frontend developer for large scale React + Redux project:
Start: ASAP
End: 6 months
Location: Stockholm
This is an opportunity to develop for a tremendously successful product within the Cisco portfolio. Do you like the challenge of presenting complex data-sets in a comprehensive manner and passionate about reducing complexity? We handle megabytes of configuration data and you will help our users be in control of it. Do you have experience from the network industry? That would be a huge plus, because then you know the type of challenges we meet.
You are expected to understand standard methodologies and apply these as you bring past experiences to the project. You will independently develop your own connected React components and write your own unit and functional tests. You are probably used to running automated tests using Jenkins, webdriverIO and Selenium.
Our client's approach has been to be conservative towards using third party libraries, so prepare yourself to get in to the details of things, and to depend less on other peoples code. You should not be afraid of changing or refining the build scripts and you should know your way around a Linux or OS X terminal.
We host our code on Bitbucket and use Jira as our project management software, so it is helpful if you are familiar with these systems.
