JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be working with Java 8 (soon moving over to Java 11) and Spring Boot 2 in a microservices environment that is deployed into Kubernetes running on AWS.

Our microservices communicate via REST endpoints as well as asynchronously using Kafka.

Weuse Git, Gradle and Bamboo for CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) andtend to take a BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approach to testing.

We also work with Docker, SQL databases, Cassandra and Mongo db.

We use agile methodologies within 3-week sprints to meet the needs of the business.

As a developer you will be required to work with others to solve business needs, but also be able to take on individual tasks

PROFILE

Experience:

We believe you have a strong software development skillset and interest, you are eager to share and expand your expertise with other developers.

It is important that you have at least Java 8 and Spring Boot experience.

Experience with Kubernetes and AWS is nice to have but not mandatory.
