DevOps Engineer - step into the cloud

Perido is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to our client, a new and rapidly growing company with a strong tech and business background and a platform powering millions of people today. The position is placed at our clients office 15 minutes from central Stockholm.

Today our client's team handles 300+ servers and clients, network, databases and storage which runs production and internal platforms. They are now taking the step into the cloud and need talented people to help build the next generation communication platform. Our client?s mission is to develop, automate and maintain IT infrastructure to scale up and down as business requirements changes, support development and NOC teams and focus on continuous delivery of service.

Your primary responsibilities are to:

-Build and develop our cloud platform
-Maintain and develop our virtualization platform
-Maintain our production SAN

To be successful in this role you must like to wear different hats every day. Developing automation for AWS, creating tools for our tech people, debug issues in production environment, no day looks like the other. Automation is your thing and you like to have fun and feel proud of what you and your team delivers. We also believe that you have a positive mindset ? everything is possible!

Requirements
-1+ year experience from software development
-Excellent skills in Linux systems administration
-Good knowledge in network communication
-Ability to debug and make changes in real-time production environments
-Good written and verbal communication skills in English

We also value:
-1+ year experience from Amazon Web Services
-Programming in Python, Ruby or Java
-Basic SQL programming
-Experience of large-scale distributed systems
-Expereience/knowledge of: Cassandra, Graphite, Citrix XenServer, NetApp OnTap 7.0, ELK stack, .NET Framework, Microsoft Azure, Nagios or Op5, Windows Server
