Software Engineer Internship (Backend)

Spotify is looking for an intern eager for responsibility, who can join our self-empowered teams and contribute in both technical and non-technical ways. Main programming language will be Java or Python.

You will be joining a small team of talented developers, that share a common interest in distributed backend systems, their scalability and continued development. You will get a chance to apply these and other skills to ongoing projects and user facing products that compose your favorite music streaming service. The team is composed of developers, QA, a product owner and a designer. The team works closely with other teams, both on related user features, as well as infrastructure.

We are an agile company, and it is not uncommon that the code we are writing goes live within a few days (if not minutes). You should be eager to ship, deploy, and monitor your systems in a production environment in order to quickly respond to the growing and changing needs of your favourite music service.
