Perido is recruiting talented engineers for our client, a software company that specializes in developing high performance software defined storage systems. The company is located in Stockholm with a development office in California.

Sales Engineer is a key role in the company, which involves many aspects for doing successful business. Sales Engineers support our client's business by their ability to deeply understand general and specific customers and partners, by designing and advising existing and prospective customers and partners on what solutions best fulfill their needs and by, in broad terms, becoming the trusted advisor to our customers and partners. Sales Engineers work in close cooperation with our sales and business development staff.

We believe that you have a passion for solution design and that you have a strong ability to express customer value deriving from technology capabilities. Furthermore it's important that you are a quick learner with a structured approach and analytical skills, as well as a strong communicator with ability to enthuse customers and partners you interact with.

Responsibilities:

-Technical Account Management, assisting Key Account Manager with technical aspects of the sales effort
-Manage own relations with technical parts, including applicable executive level managers, of customer and partner organization
-Solution designs meeting customer and partner needs while maximizing our sales
-Independent management and execution of technical projects
-Creation and delivery of presentations, workshops, demos and proposal documentation
-Lead customer lab and field tests, as well as customer pilots
RFI/RFP responses
-Drive local technical market requirements within our client?s organisation

Requirements

We require that you have experience from sales and marketing and an edge and outstanding knowledge within the following areas:

-Storage solutions and challenges facing storage users
-On-premise, cloud and hybrid storage solutions
-Programming and scripting (Shell, TCL, Perl etc)
-Database knowledge
-Experience from enterprise storage, channel development and solution bundling is of additional merit.
-You must already be a resident in Sweden
-You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and in writing

Contract type
Full time. Start as agreed, preferably as soon as possible.
