Head of UI Design

We are looking for a Head of UI Design to lead the visual design and layout for all our esports products on our websites, mobile/PC apps and beyond.

About the role

We believe UI Design is a vital part of Product Management and the enabler for Sales and Marketing. As our Head of UI Design, you will work closely with the rest of the Product team; Head of UX Design and Product Managers. We firmly believe it’s the combination of these roles that successfully form an awesome Product team.

That’s where you come in.

You will manage the coherent “look and feel” of all our products, which includes managing a visual design strategy for the entire company. This means making strategic and tactical decisions related to visual design, layouts, colors, and typography as well as creating a company-wide design framework and design guidelines. Conceptualizing design projects based on specific user needs is also a part of your work.

Further, you will lead our design team across multiple departments and teams - inspiring them to grow as designers.

You probably have a strong interest in the gaming lifestyle and a zealous drive to make interactive technology better for users all over the world.

- At least 2-3 years’ experience as Head of Design or another related lead position.
- A strong portfolio: proven experience with digital design for websites and applications.
- Strong leadership skills: A proven track record of successfully leading a team consisting of competencies such as UI design, graphic design, and freelancers.
- Software skills: Strong proficiency in Design Tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working with storyboards and mockups to give other departments an idea of how finished projects could look.

Plus

- BA or higher education in Design is expected but not required if your work experience and portfolio impress us.
- Experience from gaming is a big plus.
