At the moment we are looking to hire a Mobile Application Developer to join our System Applications department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will join our Mobile Applications team and develop apps for the Android and/or iOS platform using native solutions (Java for Android and/or Objective C and Cocoa Touch Framework for iOS).

We handle everything from the network communication, video and media streaming, databases, to the GUI layer as well as build- and test automation. This means that you have the opportunity to choose your area of expertise.

Naturally, our development approach is agile using Scrum and Kanban, Agile Testing and Continuous Integration. This means you will be joining a team of empowered, highly motivated and skilled software engineers. You can expect a lot of variation in your work at Axis. We focus on quality, reliability, scalability and testability. And on having fun, while making things happen!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You have a Master’s degree in computer science or similar. You are passionate about mobile application development and want to be a star in your field. You will be part of a highly agile team with dedicated colleagues who are open to new ideas. Creativity and innovation is always encouraged, and the work you do will be noticed and make a difference. You are used to and expect to contribute not only to development but also to testing and continuous improvement.

You must have experience in native Android development using Java, and/or native iOS development using Objective C. We also expect you to be used to both version control and code review in e.g. Gerrit.

It's considered a merit if you have experience from Axis’ products and/or relevant streaming media technologies.
