QA test Automation Developer

Reporting to: Test Automation LeadThe role At Kindred we build distributed systems that handle millions of transactions each day. Our development teams delivers new features on a daily basis, doing thousands of releases every year. The QA Department is dedicated to verify the quality of the continuous delivery to production and are managing the core functional, non-functional and test automation efforts related. Continuously improving our customer experience and time to market are essentials for the company success. Test automation is a strong factor in this work and we are now looking for another team player for our test automation team with strong experience in test automation with a focus on end-to-end and mobile.  For automation testing, we are using frameworks and tools like Java Spring, Selenium WebDriver / Appium, Cucumber. You will be a member of the QA Test Automation Team located in Stockholm. The role involves a lot of interaction and support within the IT organization and you will be working together with highly skilled professionals from all over the world, in a very interactive and fast moving environment. Also, there might be some infrequent travel associated with the role between our various office locations. What you will do Develop, maintain and/or upgrade the QA framework designed to support required test types (end-to-end)Develop and/or configure solutions for test automation development for all channels with a strong focus on MobileHelp teams to build module based automated test suites in line with continuous delivery strategy, including the test runs monitoringDrive adoption of new tools and upgrades of existing libraries (core)Promote best practices for tests implementationImprove viability and visibility in the overall test reporting Your experience You have experience in test automation (both testing and development mind sets needed, also development experience is important)You have experience in Java (code and design), and Spring frameworkYou have experience with Selenium WebDriver / Appium development for testing web application  An advantage BDD testing tool(s)MavenREST APIs testing frameworksDatabases (general technical usage)Continuous Delivery (good understanding of the concept)Agile development Excellent verbal and written communication in English
