Graduate Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps Consultant- Sweden (Stockholm)

DESCRIPTION

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are hiring Associate Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Security, DevOps and Big Data consultants to help our customers develop technical expertise and deliver results in key engagements, often alongside our partners.
Our technical consultants will help customers experiment with proof-of-concepts, provide guidance on AWS best practices, and help customers and partners succeed in their implementation projects. These professional services engagements will focus on key customer solutions such as, web applications, enterprise applications, analytics, IoT, big data, archiving and disaster recovery. All while providing guidance on AWS security best practices, and helping customers and partners succeed in creating a safe AWS environment.
AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based on customer needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Completed or currently on a Bachelors/ Masters degree related to Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics etc.
· Programming in one or more object-oriented languages like Java/Python/C#/Ruby/Swift/Objective C/C++
·
· Academic and/or practical experience in three or more of the following areas: networking, security, storage, database, architecture/infrastructure/OS and web or application development.
· Experience using and adapting to new technologies with strong motivation to learn new technical skills
· Strong analytical skills and good IT troubleshooting skills.
· Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
· Advanced to fluent proficiency in English. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working within the software development or Internet industries is highly desired
· Knowledge of the primary AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, VPC, Route53 and S3.
· Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution in a school project or while working for a company desired.
· Knowledge of fundamentals of Algorithms, Networking, Security, Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows) desired.
· Experience with infrastructure as code, ops automation, server-less computing, containerization and configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible is highly desired.
· Basic experience in setting up cloud environments with AWS

Application and Assessment Process
Eligible candidates will be invited to attend an online assessment post which successful candidates will be invited to a technical phone screen. Candidates who do pass the technical phone screen will then be invited to attend an in-house assessment centre. This selection process is subject to change but you will be notified if any changes are made.
