Qlik Sense Developer

The Qliro Exploration Hub is at the heart of data and information analytics at Qliro. We're using the latest technologies to convert data and information into insights that provide value for all our stakeholders. The team is part of the BI & Analytics organization at Qliro and work closely with the organization to ensure great deliveries for the company.

You will have a crucial and important part, together with your colleagues, in establishing the Qliro Exploration Team, incl. processes, systems and people, with the ability to implement the Qliro Exploration Hub as a single point for exploring data and information with the purpose to strengthen Qliro, its partners and consumers when it comes to gain advantages.

We are looking for a curious and out-of-the-box-thinking Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data and information into, and beyond, knowledge. As a business intelligence developer, you will work in a team of data engineers, BI-developer and data scientists with end to end responsibility for the whole exploration ecosystem of data and information.

What you will do:

You will mainly design and develop Qlik Sense and other reporting and dashboarding solutions, but you could also work with other parts of the exploration ecosystem, e.g. the data layers optimizing, data pipelines or models. Your stakeholders will be found throughout the whole organization; driven by democratization of data and information to create insights, e.g. data scientists, business analysts and the Qliro employees that need data and information in their daily work to.

Responsebilities:

- Understand and translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy analytical BI solutions (e.g. Qlik Sense/QlikView application)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Qlik Sense Management Console)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI dashboards/Reports
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation

Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us to gain greater insights and thereby make better decisions.

- Relevant education with a degree in engineering or comparable skills
- A few years’ experience of developing business intelligence applications and working hands-on with Qlik Sense
- Experience in Report/Dashboard/Mashup development
- Knowledge in writing complex SQL queries
- Understanding of Visualization best practices
- Strong hands-on experience with data modeling and relational databases like MS SQL Server and Oracle, etc.
- Experience in data analysis, trouble shooting, etc.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
- Information, data and all aspects of how it can be presented should be what makes you tick.

Bonus skills:

- Experience developing web-based apps with complex JavaScript interaction with web services
- Experience with NPrinting
- Qlik View/Qlik Sense Certification
