Creative Front End Developer

We believe tight integration between a broad range of disciplines together with a mix of nationalities and personalities results in better products as well as a fun and dynamic workplace. Creatively exploring what’s possible with emerging technology will drive you & you will want to unlock the future for both yourself, our teams & our clients.As an important member of a small and passionate team, you will have a lot of influence over the experience innovation we drive for our clients. We need people who constantly (obsessively?) believe in the quality of the work & can juggle that together with the need to be constantly prototyping toward perfection. You will be part of all phases in helping us shape new experiences for our clients - sometimes digital, sometimes physical & often connecting to all the way from understanding the user and doing concept design to shipping experiences to real users. You will be able to take responsibility for the work you do and in the end to be proud of what we create together. Skills we are looking for:Background as part of mix discipline teams in design sprints to build experience driven prototypes using emerging, creative technologies Solid experience working with UNITY 3DExperience of developing apps for iOS and AndroidGood understanding of object-oriented programmingStrong sense of motion, design and interactivityThorough understanding of networking and graphics, performance issues and tradeoffsAttention to detail and ability to work on fixed deadlines.Experience working with GIT and working in teams - both as part of core team driving a delivery towards a client and coordinating different/outsourced technical partners. The experience we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum 2-3 years of relevant experienceA background at small or midsize enterprises specialized in consumer electronicsReact Native, ES8 as well as either Java, Objective-C or SwiftBLE, WiFi and network connectivity (REST, protobuf, JSON, MQTT, etc.)GIT, build systems, testing tools, etc.Ideally, experience with iOS and Android as well as IoT devicesCustomer oriented and able to solve problems in autonomous environmentsExperience with building HTML / CSS / Javascript web experiencesFamiliar with modern JS frameworks and have the ability to to new technologies.Familiar with CSS preprocessorsModern front-end workflow technologies, such as Gulp, NPM and BrowserifyExperience with some server-side technologies (Node.js/Python)Experience with cross-platform tools such as Xamarin, React Native or FuseWhat you most likely will be doing:Working in multidisciplinary teams, mostly in the concepting phasesPrototyping beautiful user experience and UI’s and translate them into great codeEstimating, planning, and prioritization for new projectsParticipate in ping pong tournaments and rooftop barbequesOur culture heavily relies on creative teamwork where everyone is an important decision maker.
